It takes a village….. to make the circular economy a reality. In this case, Connora has teamed up with innovators like Enjoy Handplanes, Ecovative, and retailer Patagonia, to deliver the world’s first true cradle-to-cradle hardgood product to the masses. The Enjoy Handplane is made from a biodegradable mushroom mycelium core, and then glassed with Connora’s removable epoxy resin. At the end of life, the resin can be recycled away and the core turned back into compost!
Funded by NSF SBIR Phase I & II grants Connora is developing the world’s first Recyclable HP-RTM epoxy resin system, in collaboration with BMW.
